Know someone who loves opening trading card packs? Meet The Ripper, a manual pack opener we are developing at PackSafe. It uses a thumb-operated slider to score the sealed top seam.
Watch it work
See our working prototype in action. Load the seam, slide, then peel the pack open. The latest prototype includes a covered, recessed blade and tool-free cleanout.
The planned founder box
We are planning a Kickstarter bundle with The Ripper, a sleek black presentation box, a distinct Founder Edition Rippy collector card and quick-start instructions. Final contents and price will be announced before the campaign opens.
When can I order?
New Shopify preorders are paused while we prepare for Kickstarter. The campaign date and delivery estimate have not been set. Join the free launch list to hear when the offer is ready; signing up does not place an order.
Choosing it as a gift
Wait for the confirmed production plan and delivery estimate before promising The Ripper for a birthday or holiday. Pack compatibility, age guidance and final instructions will be provided before launch.
